Miracles was started by Kendalia Edelman, a bright, funny and experienced hair stylist. She decided hair was going to be her career all the way back in the 80's (don't tell anyone), and worked in North Carolina, Texas, and Manhattan; first as a Stylist, then as a Master Colorist.
Of course, as all romance novels go, she met a guy. And they lived happily ever after....wait, more about Miracles!
Kendalia and her husband were living in Manhattan, but decided to move back to Syracuse, where Dr. Edelman was born and raised. Originally, the space they looked at for a hair studio was a church! While brainstorming for names for the hair studio, including: resurrection, redemtion, salvation, they had an epiphany: "Miracles".
When they wanted to expand, Miracles moved to their current Fayetteville location. They still have services every Sunday! (Just kidding).
Kendalia wanted her hair studio to be more than just a regular salon. She wanted quality, friendliness and fun. She also wanted it to be more of a spa atmosphere. After expanding again to fit the childrens' needs, she called the new area "Little Miracles". Hard to believe, but it's already been 6 years.
